The sprint queen is back on top.
Sha’Carri Richardson has added another major accomplishment to her growing legacy, capturing her third U.S. national title in the women’s 100 meters at the 2026 USATF Outdoor National Championships.
Competing at Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island in New York, Richardson delivered a season-best performance, crossing the finish line in 10.77 seconds with a legal +0.9 m/s wind to claim the national championship.

Why Is It So Hard to Find Women’s and Local Sports Coverage?

ScoreClub Sports / July 25, 2026

In today’s digital world, sports fans have more access to information than ever. Yet finding consistent coverage of women’s sports and local sports can still be surprisingly difficult.

Major professional leagues dominate the sports media landscape, while many women’s leagues, high school teams, HBCU programs, community sports, and emerging athletes receive far less attention.

The Sports Coverage Gap

Women’s sports continue to grow, from the WNBA and women’s college basketball to soccer, volleyball, softball, and track and field. But coverage often increases only when a major event happens.

Fans want more than championship highlights. They want player profiles, game previews, rankings, statistics, and stories that follow athletes throughout the

How to Decode Sports Stats: Making Numbers Make Sense

July 6, 2026

If you’ve ever tried to follow a game or read a sports article and felt overwhelmed by the avalanche of stats, you’re not alone. For many fans, terms like “FG%”, “ERA”, or “plus-minus” seem mysterious — but understanding these numbers can seriously level up your sports experience. Let’s break down what some of these common stats mean and how they help you see the bigger picture in sports.

Why Stats Matter
Sports stats aren’t just for commentators or analysts — they help tell the story behind the game. Whether it’s shooting percentages in basketball, passing yards in football, or batting averages in baseball, these numbers are snapshots of player performance. Stats let you compare athletes, see trends, and even predict what

From Underdogs to Champions: The Historic Rise of the South Carolina State Bulldogs

July 6, 2026

There is nothing quite like the energy of HBCU football. It’s a masterclass in culture, deep-rooted tradition, and unapologetic grit. If you need any proof that the landscape of college football is shifting, look no further than Orangeburg, South Carolina, where the South Carolina State Bulldogs just wrapped up a season for the history books.

Under the brilliant leadership of head coach Chennis Berry, the Bulldogs didn’t just compete; they took over. They marched all the way to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Celebration Bowl, a stage that serves as the de facto Black college national championship.

What followed was one of the most thrilling, heart-stopping games in HBCU history.
